Did I see that E. Tawakoni taxes are going up 5% ??
West is going up 2.9?
Quinlan unchanged?
Five percent....is just a little hard to take man.

i don't know what kind of revenue the East Tawakoni rate increase will generate but in WT, the 3% raise generates about 6K in actual income to the city
The proposed rate will be only slightly higher than the rate of last year but is still an increase because it is higher than the "effective rate" the tax rate that would generate the same amount of money as the year before. The new WT budget does not allow for a pay raise to any employee or any additional employees.

I`d prefer Supreme ruler, but yeah, Mayor would work.
