Cats are biting early?

It seems a little early to me, but maybe not.
A guy up the street is catching small catfish, bunches of em.
He has a honey hole tho (he feeds em dog food).

We've been catching some pretty big ones off our dock the past several weeks.

Been slow in the Duck Cove area.  Caught a couple decent blues (2 -3 lbs) using shad and throwing deep, but off the edge of the pier, a crappie here and there using minnows.
