This is something I received in an email and reminded me of a film I saw in college, "The Powers of Ten". I saw that film in a planetarium and it had a big impact on me. When I saw this email, all those thoughts came streaming back. I hope this strikes a cord in you as well.

This is Earth in relation to a few planets in our solar system.
This is Earth in relation to all the planets in our solar system.
This is all the planets in relation to our Sun.
This is the Sun in relation to a star known as Arcturus.
Arcturus is the brightest star in the constellation Boötes, and the third brightest star in the night sky.
This is Arcturus in relation to another star, Antares.
Antares is a red supergiant star in the Milky Way galaxy and the sixteenth brightest star in the nighttime sky.
It's more than 1000 light years away.
This is a hubble telescope ulta deep field infrared view of countless entire galaxies billions of light years away.

Humbling, isn't it? How big are the things that upset you today?
Keep life in perspective and don't sweat the small stuff!
